About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic, down-to-earth Human Resources Advisor to join our fun and friendly Naracoorte office team. This generalist role will see you contribute to the delivery of a wide range of HR solutions and services to a very large meat processing site.
Working alongside a supportive and dedicated HR Manager in a fast-paced environment, this position will allow you to bring your skills and experience from a manufacturing/food business environment (ideal) to be able to transition quickly and hit the ground running.If you don't have everything we need, on-the-job training is willingly offered.
Overall responsibilities will include:
- Be the first point of contact for all HR-related inquiries
- Assist with the employee's full life cycle - recruitment, induction, performance, surveys, training, exit process
- Assist with an efficient return-to-work program
- Assist with common law damages claims
- Advise and guide other staff members on Tey's HR policies and procedures
- Manage employee engagement, social, and promotion of diversity
- Admin and reporting associated with the position.
About You
It is essential that you have the following experience/skills:
- Knowledge of contemporary HR practices
- Ability to form relationships at all levels
- Personal qualities of drive, commitment, and enthusiasm
- Well-developed organisational skills
- Knowledge and effective use of HRIS systems
- Advanced computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Office 365)
- Sound written and verbal communication skills
- Current driver’s license.
Desirable:
- 3+ Years’ experience in HR (ideally manufacturing, food for export)
- Relevant Human Resources qualification (partial complement/willingness to obtain).
- Meat industry experience
- First Aid
- Workplace Assessing and/or Training
- Workplace Health and Safety and Rehabilitation (or willingness to obtain).
- Competitive salary between $90,000 to $100,000 based on experience
