The hotel boasts 369 spacious, beautifully appointed guest rooms and suites offering contemporary facilities for the modern business or leisure traveller.

We are currently searching for a highly motivated and experienced Conference & Events professional to join our Sales & Marketing team as Full Time Senior Conference & Events Executive.

Salary offering: $76,000 + superannuation

• Ownership of the Conference & Events budget and revenue, across meeting spaces and rooms
• Manage all client enquiries and leads relating to Conference & Events, along with 2 direct reports (Conference & Events Executive and Coordinator)
• Drive sales strategy to ensure conversion targets are achieved and monitor success regularly
• Conduct client activations, site inspections and proactively sources new business.
• Pro-active event management, with regular reporting on results

• Exposure in a hotel in the same or similar role
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence and negotiate
• You are an achiever that is motivated by reaching maximum potential for yourself
• A friendly, outgoing personality and a high standard of personal presentation
• Excellent attention to detail
• Works collaboratively with other departments within the hotel including our external AV partner
• Prior experience in Delphi, Cvent, Opera PMS, Opera Cloud and Microsoft suite is an advantage.
• Possess Full time work right in Australia.
