Job Description- Manage and execute financial processes including invoicing, budgeting, and financial reporting
- Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded and filed
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
- Collaborate with the accounting team to streamline financial operations
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards
- Provide financial advice and support to the team when required
- Identify opportunities for financial improvement and make recommendations
- Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated on industry trends and changes in regulations
The Successful Applicant
A successful Finance Officer should have:
- A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in using finance software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- An estimated salary FTE of AUD 70,000 - AUD 80,000 plus superannuation
- Part-time position with flexible working hours
