We are seeking a passionate Senior Metallurgist to join our Jameson Cell Technology Team in Brisbane. This is an exceptional opportunity to work with advanced flotation technology and contribute to the development and implementation of Jameson Cells, with additional exposure to Isa Mill and Albion technologies.
Your role will encompass technology development, testwork program management, process design, equipment sizing, technical support for project delivery, and involvement in R&D initiatives. You will report directly to the Manager of Jameson Flotation.

The role will include some travel, both domestic and internation.

You will be responsible for:

Support the development, marketing, investigation, and implementation of the Jameson Cell and our other technologies.
Design, oversee, and assist with tes twork programs and equipment/plant design.
Provide technical assistance for project delivery and commissioning.
Offer ongoing support to technology users and key stakeholders.
Lead and train more junior members of the technology team
Generate and present technical papers, short courses, and presentations to key stakeholders

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Tertiary qualification in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or Mineral Processing.
At least five years of experience in the mining industry, with a focus on minerals processing.
Australian working rights
Experience in operations and flotation circuit design would be viewed favorably.
Flotation experience and/or knowledge of Jameson Cells (operational or technical).
Additional experience in grinding, stirred milling, and hydrometallurgy is a plus.
Familiarity with Isa Mills and/or Albion technologies.
Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate technical and commercial issues with clients.
